The estuaries of the Galician Atlantic coast have not always been there. 6000 years ago they took the familiar shape we all now enjoy. How many stories could be told?
In one of them, in the deepest part of the Vigo estuary, beyond the Rande Bridge, where the Alvedosas islands are watched over by the islands of San Antón and San Simón, Vilaboa Town Council has a natural heritage of great value. Part of it is hidden under the mixed salt and fresh waters of the Atlantic and the river Verdugo.
